shooting through glass is fun... next time though, don't tell us what it is. I love photography that works no matter even if you turn it upside down. Something like this would cause the mind to wander, and draw its own conclusions, which personally i find best for the viewer. It's kinda like reading a great book, then watching a movie of that book, and what it is is a certain few people's opinions of what the book should look like on screen, even though all I can think is "Man, they didn't have co-ed showers in the book!?!?!" Great piece though, love the contrast.

I believe if the artist intended to show this as an abstract, then the description might have been deemed unnecessary. But, (also my opinion) some of the art of photography is the description of the subject and the desire of the photographer to have the viewer see the image exactly the way the artist/photographer intended. I personally find it very interesting to look at a photo and know exactly what I am looking at. I will agree with you on one point though Slynky, Great piece.

This wasn't really intended as an abstract as such. When I photograph things intended to be abstract I do it different from this...this was supposed to be kind of a drunk picture, if you know what I mean. :-)
