I was having another one of my restless nights, and started to think about South Africa (my home country) when I remembered one time I was lying on the soft grass, looking at the stars in the sky one night, with the underwater pool light turned on. I remembered how the light made the pool glow a magical blue. I suddenly had the urge to try and recreate the brilliant blue I remembered so vividly in my mind. All I wanted to try and do was create the blue glowing water in the pool, but the rest of this scene evolved from there to what you see now.

I think everyone has an image with the word tranquility in it, but yours definately stands out from all the rest. I love how you have the caustics shining on the statue. I can really sense the mood you are trying to capture too. This really makes me want a pool with one of those lights too!! V

yes... the underwater blue light... many an evening spent staring at it till the bugs got the best of me & drove me back inside... this really stands out in your gallery you know... must be that brilliant blue... luv the reflection on the statue too... terrific lighting & house... hey ...you're pretty good at this!! thanks... i never get over to this gallery on my own & the "all" gallery just moves too fast :]
