no offense, but how can you live with youself if you consider a symbol of torture "beautiful"?!? perhaps if, in your mind, picture an electric chair, or perhaps a gillotine in its place my point becomes a bit more clear.. wouldn't it be more true to what jesus stood for to show --==HIM==-- in all his "glory" actually having returned (in whatever positively influenced form he would most likely take if he has "risen"?)

AMEN!!! The cross is the symbol of His suffering for us. And as the Apostle Paul stated...The cross is also foolishness to those who do not beleive and are dying in their sin. Well Done.

The Abrahamic religions -- Judaism, Christianity and Islam -- are mental constructs that no longer serve our evolution. Regardless, artists must express themselves using whatever symbols and myths inspire them. That said, this is a very nice render, indeed. :D
