Description
Modeled in Wings3D, textured and rendered in Cinema 4D.
This is my first finished 3D project, though I plan to revisit this down the road (play with new materials, lighting, maybe even make a more elaborate scene). I'd appreciate any C&C.
Best,
Andrew

I don't know something looks wierd the bridge is too close to the end of the body ?But over all not to bad.

Not bad_ I assume it's a 6 string bass? That wood has turned out quite good in a weird sort of way!

Thanks for the comments and kind words. Good eye, kauldron: the bridge is set a little close to the body edge; I'll check on the pickups, too, though I think they're OK (on new models, the neck pickup is butted almost against the neck edge, but not on my reference bass) MartinK: I agree completely with your comment about the wood. I was going for an exotic look; I think it came out pretty but not as realistic as I wanted. Gotta shed with those SLA shaders

great picture! looks almost like one of Les Claypool's basses except the body and the grain are a little different. (well ... a lot, but it reminds me of it)
