Description
This was taken shortly after acquiring my camera (Fuji S5000 3.1 MP) in late November. The Japanese Maple in my front yard had not yet begun to change it's colors. It began to change shortly after this. Though i have dabbled in digital photography on and off for 3 years, this was my first experience with a higher end camera, and this picture is one of my favorite early pictures. It really is a beauty. A soft rain can be so calming sometimes and this one gives me that feeling.

This is very nice. I can almost hear the rain when I look at the wet streaks in the photo. Lovely spring color, too.
