Description

"Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a parrot's life for me. A parrot's life for me, parrot's life for me!" squawked Chico, much to the chagrin of Pegwing Pete (formerly known as Captain BlackWing). He loves the rapscallion, but he just wishes he'd learn another song. Any other song. If you'd like to know how PegWing Pete got in this mess, check out The Mishap of Captain BlackWing. You may notice in that picture that his patch is on the other eye. Should have known better than to trust a pirate! :) Comments Welcome HAPPY EASTER EVERYBODY... Poser/Photoshop/Vue The good captain and the parrot was rendered in Poser, the background was rendered in Vue, then the beard and some other details were painted and color corrected in photoshop. Happy Easter to you too, my friend! Delightful coincidences, my father just gave his grandson a "pirate outfit", I brought home a DVD of "Pirates of the Carribean" for that nephew (4-year old) of mine as well. I'll make sure and send his mom a link to this picture. He'll go nuts and be super thrilled with this image! :o)

Shadow, this is fantastic, all your work has that certin look to it, truly a style of your own. The expression on the captains face is priceless. Don't know if I agree about the comments concerning the blur on the tree's. I think it adds a nice photo-realism effect. Love it. :^>

wow had to look at thi simage awhile and wondered what it was that was mesmerizing..its trhat this looks sooooooooooo much like Robin Williams as Capt Hook(Dustin Hoffmans part of "Hook" the movie)...this is one of the best images ever I have seen ...does them justice and his feathered takative friend..lol...excellent Jalen:0)))))
