"Heaven be praised for solitude. Let me be alone.
Let me cast and throw away this veil of being, this cloud that changes with the least breath night and day, and all night and all day."
Woolf, Virginia 'The Waves'
Actually, this was just the original idea... but I am struggling to break free!

This is incredible. Its interesting that you've seperated the warm and cool extremes to each hemisphere, while they unite in the middle. Was it painted from a still life, because the composition is very complex?

Thank you all, you are wonderful! No, Cingram,I don't need any models or still life when I am painting. 'Pitura e una cosa mentale.' said Leonardo Da Vinci long time ago, and it's perfectly true.

Makes me think of old perfumed decadence and J. K. Huysmans's A Rebours...
