Description

Anyone who has been in Sedona (Az) will attest to the beauty of this area. The red rock in this area is awesome and gives rise to spectacular scenery. The terrain was downloaded from MapMart (for free !!!). It is difficult, at least for me, to make vegetation that is in the foreground and close to the point of view, and make it look good ! This is by far the best Terragen rendition of Sedona I have seen so far. The color of the rocks and soil is dead on. A couple of nits, if I may. The strata of Sedona's red hills do not vary in color. The sky is too blue, both directly above and on the horizon. I recommend adding a little green. For convincing vegetation in the foreground, use a large and pronounced bump.

Excellent sky and colors...the terrain is a bit too orange or pink for my taste but, the strata is awesome...very nice work!!!

Outstanding colors in that sky, I really like the depth of this image. Don't know if it is realistic, but that strata sure does look good.
