Holy mother of pearl...this is STUNNING...your gonna make me work for it I can tell...lol....you are so talented I can do nothing but humbly admit to your expertise...just when I think to myself "DW..this will really make people take notice" you do one of these StoneCold Stunners and put it all back in perspective...my faith in my artistic judgement becomes verified when you do as I truly feel you are (with a couple of others) taking the point and leading this in a good and positive direction...keep up the magnificent work and this one has my vote...so don't be surprised when it hits the Top 20 list....

This is a really subtle, beautiful image. It's composed and well thought out, and doesn't look like it was rushed out the door. Nice color scheme and post work too. Congrats!

Thermocline: ocean layer in which temperature decreases rapidly with depth. From 200 to 1000 meters the temperature decreases by 15 degrees F. In summer the thermocline becomes thin and gradients of 1 degree per foot can be observed. Oceans: P = g**Z

Thanks for the kind words. I'm very happy with this texture. I'll be exploring this place a little more. And the last post here has me thinking...it might be about time for a little underwater action.
