Description

Sat and watched the stars go to bed and the sun come up. Had a hard time sleeping last night. To excited, today will be the day. Should hit the vessel by 1 or 2 this afternoon. Then I'll either have it or someone beat me to it. Either way it will be over.. No saying I don't like it out here, but a cold cool anything would be nice. 2 mules to haul the treasure out. If there is more I just cover it and tie some sagebrush to the tail of Jaw-Bone and that will erase all our tracks. Well the sky is bright and blue, even the mules seem to sense to be the one.. Looking back this has been a fairly easy hunt. No other people, no other problems. Damn I feel good.. Can't think of anything that could go wrong unless the sign isn't there. When I find the "vessel" there will be a pick symbol in stead of a cross. This shows I am to dig. At noon we took a break. feed and watered the mules. Eat some left over flap jack had a cold camp just in case.. While I was munching on that "jack" I was thinking of how I'll never eat my own cooking again.. Just day dreaming about spending all that gold... The fever was getting to me.. Spending and still haven't got it, Yet.!! Well I haven't seen any sign of anyone but the "Boys" and that grave, but that grave was very old.. Now I knew I was going to have to do some digging. According to my info the treasure was about 12 ft down. Piece-O-cake.. I could do 15ft easy.. Settle down boy your getting cocky. Started up. Went about a hr when the mules gave out with a Hee Haw. I knew we were close. Wait, why did they give out with a hee haw?? We topped the trail. There it was. I spotted the pick symbol 1st thing. This was the vessel alright. A vessel holds things. In this case it was holding water about 4ft deep.... Damn I sure wasn't ready for this!!!!!! Thats why the mules did the Hee Haw, they smelled the water. This was the only water in the area and it had to pick my vessel to sit in. The air once more turned Blue with words you may not find in your family Bible.. To Be contained. TG
