Description

Not noticed by the locals a small meteor hit a remote valley in the countryside. Hidden beneath the water from rain it remained there for years. But suddenly something started to grow from it. First very small, its growth rate soon accelerated feeding from the countrys living energy and color leaving only grey dead mater and spoiled water around it. Pulsating in nonnatural colors it gets more hungry... This picture is a hommage to H.P. Lovecraft and inspired by his short story "The color from outer space" Some sharpening and contrast added with Photoshop Please tell me what you think of it. As usual critics, comments and/or advise are welcome. :o) Thanks for viewing and Happy Rendering Matthias
