Description

Velturno (SuedTirol), Summer 2003 Nikon 28-70mm AutoFocus (very touristic camera) I like this view of the church, it's like it rises from the edge of the hill, it makes the church so joined with the nature around. Also, I like to name this shot "The twin churches", because if you look well in the corner between the tower and the roof you can see a very similar church in the background, on the other side of the valley (Isarco Valley), I never seen the other church (town of Tiso) but I can imagine that it's a twin of the Velturno church. I'm sorry if the quality of the photo doesn't give the feel of reality.

It had a feeling of Alps! Sud Tirol, of course! No mountain is like our Alps!
