My 2nd beach try... Need some tips :) It took me 3:33:47 There were 6502165 Quads rendered it at 2048x1536 resized it at 1024x768 Hope you like it :) T4V & C

That is an awesome beach! It looks very good, especially for Terragen. 3 1/2 hours??? 2048x1536??? Do you have an army of G5's at your command?

Nice water, pov and lighting; try more fuzziness in your wet sand layer min/max altidute settings.

I got a amd athlon xp 2000+, Geforce ti 4200 128 mb... 512 mb ram nothing spectacular :o

Beautiful water! I agree with Eoin. The lines between the different wetness of sand are too sharp.

For only your second try at 'beach' work, you have done an excellent job. You might consider lowering your 'gamma' setting to about 1.4 or lower for better contrasts and richer colors. Also, try to sharpen your image a little. I would recommend using "IrfanView" to do this.
