Description

Seen some beautiful coast type renders lately and I just had to give it a go. Any ideas on retexturing the dead tree from Vue? Vue 4.2 Freebies Me Have a beautiful day! Jennifer

Wow! This is really beautiful. The colors and atmosphere are fantastic. Since the dead tree probably washed up in the surf, it wouldn't have bark and would probably be a deadish grey anyway. Looks very natural as is.

Really moody colors, I like the way you tied the sky to the ground with the purple flowers in the corner. As for the tree it looks good the way it is, but if you're not happy with it you could try playing with a mapped photo of stripped bark (I'm sure there's one in the freebies). But as I said, it looks good the way it is in this render.

The atmosphere is one of a cold and windy coast with rain recently ending. You have achieved this effect beautifully. There are some fine textures in the freebies for the wood and even some driftwood within the downloads.

I like this one very much, nothing wrong to my eye with the "dead tree" texture. Nice to see a rendered (I guess), yet realistic sky instead of the recent trend with photo backdrops. Excellent work.

From the sky down to these wildflowers this is one gorgeous piece of work, Jennifer! Short of the ridiculous rounded ends the VUE trees have...hehe..this dead tree looks good here as well! ==steve==
