Yes, it's true. On the internet, I'm a rather dull, mild-mannered digital artist, but in real life, I am actually Superfrog.
"Faster than a speeding dragonfly, stronger than a flathead catfish. Able to leap ten hungry alligators in a single bound. Look! Out in the swamp! It's a bird. It's a boat. It's Superfrog!"

For me, ideas are like butterflies that are flittering around by the dozens. Just grab one and render it, then move on to the next.
BIO:
I began 3D art with Bryce 3 in April 1999. Before that I played with various 2D styles and techniques. Back in the mid-70's and 80's, I worked in metal sculpture and had a line of "frog prints" selling in stores all over Southern California and Arizona. I have been in art in some capacity since childhood. Since the computer came along, I 've pr3etty much lost touch with brushes, pens and pencils which I regret.

After pausing a moment, the woman moaned as if realizing something. She said it must have been the transitional timewarp factor of the wormhole. This area of the galaxy isnt even calibrated, so I suppose that accounts for the temporal shift. How long ago was it, in your time? Huh? I said and realized I was paying more attention to her grey-blue eyes than her words. She repeated the question and I told her more than thirty years. Fascinating. She sighed and backed up as I stood up. She was slightly taller than me, but her heels were at least three inches high. Turns out that only two years of Ninas time had passed since she came and picked up Wally. Her and the Captain had talked a lot about Earth during the short time they served together. Nina wanted to take a vacation upon retiring from the service and thought Earth would be a good place to start. I asked her what sorts of things she wanted to see and she grinned. I would like to find what I think is called, a hot dog. Captain Murphy always talked about what wonderful food Earth has. Do you know where I could find one of those? Her face had this alarming look of innocence, but she had traveled in space and crossed galaxies. Every place in Springdale was closed up for the night, but there were a couple of all-night diners over in Hawley that would have hot dogs. It was a warm night for April and the top was down on the Corvette. I looked at Nina and then at the Rocket Ride. Yeah, I now where we could get some hot dogs. I said, nodding toward the car. Nina giggled and then we were gone.

Not that it gets a lot of traffic, but anyone that looked at the frogdot entry in my favorite artist section would see the comment, "Not just art - it's entertainment!" Well actually its a little beyond that. Dave seems to know the secret of how to draw you right into the world hes showing you, and you all know what Im talking about, cuz youve felt it too. And if I ever come into my money, and end up vinting a fine big Barolo to serve guests rooming at my Tuscan olive plantation, well... therell always be room at my table for Dave and Nina (fmr Sub Commander Freeber, ret.) and anyone else who shares the dream... Awesome! I think ddruckenmiller has nailed it well, it is entertainment (often with a wry sense of humour, I might add!)

I agree with lemonjim... you could sell this stuff. This is great. You should check out some of the SF magazines and some of the illustrated magazines. I love ALL of your work for exactly the reasons ddruckenmiller says, Art AND Entertainment!
