Among the many elements that "sell" this scene is your skill at feathering the furry surfaces, making them much fluffier than just a straight render. Fuzzing the hairy areas may be rather straightforward, but keeping the surrounding background from looking smudged, that's the real trick. That problem always bites me in the @$$.
