Description
This photo was taken recently at Sunset Crater Park in Arizona, not far from Flagstaff. I have been there a few times, but not at this time of year, and I ultimately got chased out by snowfall that showed no sign of letting up. Anyway, as a conveniently posted sign stated, "lava was pushed up from a crack in the earth like toothpaste out of a tube." I realize there is a lot going on here, but I still kind of like it!

Truly a very busy image! Takes a while to figure out whats going on, but once you realise the perspective of the shot, it all makes sense :) well done!

Wow, what a chaotic landscape! It's indeed interesting to find out what we can see on this picture. Must be an very interesting area!
