Description


Red somewhere you like moth's. So here is one, it's a Rothchild-silkmoth with a wingspan of about 12cm. There are a lot of species living in South-America. You could say that they are the counterpart of the asian "Atlas-moth's" which are bigger in size, up to 25cm. I'm glad to share virtual space with you too :)) PapaGuru.

She looks so soft. I'd want to touch it...but I heard some where that the oil on our skin will kill the silk on their wings and then they can't fly.

you're right i do luv moths!! think it goes back to when i was young & fell in luv with the "Cynthia" moth, liked the ideal of being named after it, although i doubt that's what my mother had in mind... & they're a bit mysterious, creatures of the night, this one is exquisite! so soft, beautiful pattern & big!! thank you grand master PG! fuzzy moth hugz :]
