Description

"I am Investigator B635457." The cold emotionless figure came to a halt just in front of Andria's sonic shower chamber. The Investigator's long coat was wrapped tightly around him, the bottom billowing down almost to the floor. Around his head a comm unit kept him in constant contact with The Mainframe. He looked like all the others, strong, tall, powerful. Like all Simulants, including Andria, his skin showed traces of the cybernetic exoskeleton underneath. A legacy from the times when humans segregated Simulants apart. Now the race of bio-mechanicals took the markings as their own. "You will comply with my questions." Andria nodded as she stepped out of her heavy work trousers, she glanced at The Investigator as she walked towards her sonic shower. "I am here to serve." she replied dutifully. The Investigator continued, satisfied with her response. "You work at Ore Processing Centre 2X4B." "Yes." "Your function is a systems regulator?" Andria was now pulling off her top. "That's correct." "There was an incident last night, during your shift, several workers were made offline by it." "It was a failure in the conveyor system, our diagnostic report was thorough." The Investigator shook his head. "There was one error in the report." "And what was that?" "One of the worker's was human." Andria stopped, the top that held in her hand dropped to the floor. "Humans aren't allowed in our facilities to work." The Investigator nodded. "But he was there, you did not know?" Andria shook her head. "You will acoompany me, as system regulator you have access to biomedical scans, his presence should have been detected." "I will come with you after I have cleaned myself." The Investigator nodded, but said nothing else, he had nothing else to say. Andria stepped into her sonic shower. As the cylindrical door rolled shut, she activated the controls and felt the ioniisng particles begint to clean her outer skin. As she stood against the wall, a low hum echoing all around her, she thought about what The Investigator had told her, if a human had infiltrated the facility, her facility, she was in serious trouble. "A human?" she said to herself. "What would they be doing working there?" --- Well had to get something out of my head and I'm glad I did. Great image! I like the dark atmosphere, that Investigator looks like a real badass, and the girl is cool. Excellent composition.
And your story is captivating! More! More! I want sequels!
Excellent, excellent work.

Very gritty feel! The storyline is riveting... as svdl said, and I need to echo the sentiment... "more! more! more!". Keep them coming!
