no, I mean that the light is no longer being effected by the atmosphere like it is in the early morning (which normally red, due to haveing to go through more of the atmosphere than usual)

Well I don't know, if it was a first attempt I wouldn't say it didn't have the chance to become something nice, but for now.... I would advice you to use the Euphotica effect of the waterworks plugin. It creates a depth effect in the water allowing you to also see the shore going underwater and slowly fading. Second I should lower the waterside of the shore, just to make it look like a possible beach. Hope you don't mind this kind of comments, just know that I try to help, when not appreciated let me know. Good luck with attempt NO. 2

well, on most of my work I don't use plugins, since most won't run on my machine. I would love to use waterworks, but it pukes on runtime in W2k mahcines. As far as the others commments, I will take 'em into concideration next time. P.S. its a bit hard to see, but the beach front curves away from the camera here.

This image needs a lot of improvement. I'm sorry, but that's the truth. The water level needs to be raised so the shore isn't so steep, surface maps need to be modified so the sand is smoother and more uniform, and Euphotica or Sorta Surf needs to be used on the water so it is transparent. Contact me or go to terranet or terrasource and get these plugins, you won't be sorry. I don't think it will slow your computer down that much. I can't wait to see what you are capable of with the right tools

Well, actually thats how many of the beaches are where I have been. In Missouri, on the Mississippi, Meremac, and down at the Lake of the Ozarks the sand ISN'T uniform, the shores ARE steep. And as far as the plugins, the only ones I have gotten to work is the SOPack and Firmament since I have windows 2000, so as I have already said waterworks WON'T work. I just forgot to add the water effects to it before hand from the SOPack.
