I have received some criticism for the narrow depth of field on this slide. What do you think?

I think I like the narrow dof.. to me it represents the journy through past, present, and future.. I like it a lot =)

It's a beautiful picture... love the composition! The foreground softness does bother me some, but not nearly enough to distract from my genuine enjoyment of the shot. :)

Why not crop out the fading foreground? Then this beautiful shot will become much more better.

As FNJ I think the DOF could have been a little sharper in the foreground, but this is a fabulous shot! And I love it!

This a an excellent image. Colors and light are great and the wave licking the sand looks very good. Thanks for sharing!
