Description

Hi every one, I'm glad you like to go little further along the garden of the Castle of Schwetzingen even on a grey and windy day like this. To me willows never loose their own charme whatever the weather looks like. Can't help but they always give me a bit sad feeling though I love them a lot. Hope you like this little lake we're walking along and this bridge some of you have mentioned before. Thanks for your time and your interest. And thanks also for viewing and commenting on my previous shot Leaving Hugz Monika

A beautiful landscape and the yellow tree (I do not know the name in english) near the bridge give a great present and mood to the whole image. V

Monika, this is a beautiful moody shot. The colors of the tree, the bridge and the water... everything fits so well together. It's a pitty, that the contrast of the trees and the bright sky in the background is a little bit strong. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, very spooky - in a way. But excellent. I never saw the Schwetzinger Schossgarten like that. Very well done.

I'd crop some of the tree line above the Willow...and an appreciable amount of water from the very bottom. You're allowing too much innocuous detail especially above the Willow, which only diminishes its presence. It is after all the focal point of your theme. And by the subsequent widening of your visage grande, the Willow would stand out more sweetly against an ample natural perspective.

Lovely photograph. The weeping willow resembles a bit an European species of the birch (Betulus pendula), where the branches hang down in a similar way. When you hang donw your arms your attitude radiates 'Trauerhaft', pessimistic with the look downward. But this willow remains a marvellous tree, however, not that optimistic as other trees. Fortunately nature provides in all kinds of moods :)

I would try to focus more on the willow, the red neighbour, the white bridge. But the colour from the willow contrasting to the still sleeping black trees should not get lost by this. A very nice shot nevertheless!

Oh - another Monet-shot :-) The blurr caused by the wind adds even more "Monet" to it.
