Just another struggling artist with a passion for 3D computer graphics. I was first inspired by the works of Jean Giraud (a.k.a. Moebius) of "Heavy Metal" fame, hence the tribute in my online moniker. My 3D CGI tool of choice is LightWave, but I have recently started mucking about with digital photography. Other tools include Vue Infinite and DAZ|Studio. I also work in Photoshop and CorelDraw to cover the 2D graphics stuff.
I don't have too much patience for setting up final renders, because my interests lie in modeling. "Non-organic" modeling, or "hard surface" modeling, in the sci-fi genre to be specific. So the bulk of the images in my gallery are modeling WIP's and design studies, the rest are photos and a few quick sketches. I consider myself a hobbyist, because I am still at a level where my skills definitely need a lot more improvement.
I'm an architect by training, and work as Studio Manager for an architectural/interiors design office. I was born, raised and educated in the Philippines, but am currently based in Bangkok, Thailand where I live my wife, "Kanittha", our son "Nio" and our cat "Samuel".
Thank you very much for looking up my page.

Hehe, no "Bridge Over the River Kwai"? Does the traffic on the bridge look anything like "Wireless Road" (or did they change that name by now?). It looks great, Moe!
kosv01
Excellent once again my friend Moeb! Always glad to see your stuff...Congrats.---Kostas.
Darkmagi
Thanks for the close up of the bridge, I like the look of it in the Riverside WIP you showed a while ago, the bridge looks just as good up close. Hope the Poser version arrives soon.

ComplxMind
Excellent model. The "Traffic" reminds me of DC. except there isn't enough of it shown here. Looks like they are still moving. Great work as always.
Platyvark-4

I remember your request about the aerial view of Bucharest :) - haven't forgotten :D working on getting to a nice spot to take the pic. Now i have a request too - how bout a nice perspective from the bridge? eye-level would probably be too much, but i'd LOVE to see one. The bridge is a jewel! refined and elegant! could you, please, please? ty :)

I'm starting to wonder why it's called Dystopia. I'd like to live there.

Holy hell Moe! This is incredible! I am in awe of your architectural skills!
SydneyKeys
D*MN is that cool! Any chance we will see a Poser version?

Thanks for all the comments and support, my friends!
ChuckEvans yes, "Wireless Road" ("Thanon Wittayu") is still doing an impersonation of a parking lot over here. LOL!
petes nope, no postwork here at all, all the vehicles are low polygon models (built-to-scale) with luminous surfaces for the front and rear lights.
lahavana sure thing... I'll try and cook up a more human POV render for you. :o)
kusanagi73 are you sure you'd want to move in? the pollution is incredibly bad, plus all the amenities are pretty low polygon.

Looks awesome, Moe. I particularly like those buildings in the foreground.

The bridge is an absolute jem: very nice modeling Moe! How many more block are you planning to add to Dystopia? This city of yours ia a marvel to look at.
Moebius87
Eugenius the "City Block" series ends at block 100... then we start detailing all the different places in the city with a new series called "Dystopia Destinations". :o)
Flak
Damn, but thats a lot of detail. You have a brain for sci-fi designs, my friend.
ObsidianLogic
havw we been here before but how an awesome work of render great sales wow!!
3D_Explorer
I cannot fathom the amount of time you must put into these models to get that level of detail. You must be a very, very patient man. Nice work as always!
