Description

Only few parts of the Netherlands have been saved from cultivating. The Dutch poldermodel has its disadvantages. A terrain like this, Kampina, was part of vast fens and bogs that made this country a humid place, impenetrable for usual traffic. Nowadays some of these terrains have been saved from draining so that this unique biotope can be preserved. Several Dutch painters have made wonderful paintings of these landscapes. A photograph is no painting, but I hope to give you an impression by this picture. Thanks for your attention and your valuable comments

You know, There are soo much creatures living here you could shoot some of the best shots for a whole year and you wont get bored. A great shot of a great location
