Wisdom
When I have ceased to break my wings
Against the faultiness of things,
And learned that compromises wait
Behind each hardly opened gate,
When I can look life in the eyes,
Grown clam and very coldly wise,

My health is not good, never has been.
I've wasted too much time
breaking my wings, for things I can't change.
For all those I love and have lost. You are in my heart forever.
Life is today and I'm going to live it, with no regrets.
Life is right now.

Leah, your image and words have brought tears in my eyes. But they are not tears of hurt but of hope. Life IS for today and our wings are for flying.
