Description

The shadows creep steadily closer, meandering its way to cut off any escape. The light is but a distant memory, haunting the soul with the vague recollections of happiness that once existed. Darkness is approaching, drawing near with every breath. The loneliness allows for nothing to soothe the transition. Laughter becomes twisted in the knotted confines of the mind. Perhaps it is for the best, that the quiet comes again.

This is a wonderful poem. It flows so nicely and is really well written. Excellent.
