Description

On my way to Arizona, I spent one afternoon in Joshua Tree National Park near Palm Springs, California. It's a fabulous place. As you can see, the weather was stormy... can you find the raindrop on my lens? :)

No, don't see any raindrops! JT Park looks very unfamiliar to me with those clouds. Have been there twice in summer, terrible heat! No cloud! Temperatures to melt iron in! But there is an old Disney film, where one can see this desert in spring, with blossoms all over. Great photo! Well done!

Joshua Tree is one of my favorite spots (shot "Roadrunner wanted" there). This place always reminds me of prehistoric times. Your shot gives a lost impression. Like someone dropped of on a strange planet. I will have to go back sometime this year. If only it wouldn't take that long to get there.

Crisp shot...I think the drop may be the small white spot on the cloud in the upper right, right above the 1st closest mountain?? If I'm right, what do I win?? Excellent image Steve!!! :)

Those colors I associate with down under. The dark clouds here gives it a very special mood. Very beautiful!

I really like all the colors of the rock in contrast to the colorless sky. This is my favorite shot of your trip, so far...

Yep..."raindrop fuzzy" found before reading comments..I've seen images of JT National Park, some in B&W as well, but being there with an approaching storm is quite lovely indeed! Now quick...run for cover! [];^)
