Hi my name is Bill(started here as Primaltruck). I am an old hippy from the santa cruz mountains.I live with my wife and kids Alice and Chris..we also have 2 other kids Jason and leah, that are married and live elswhere..we live in the redwood forest with a spring and waterfall on our property and about 700 2nd growth redwoods..My artwork is definetly inspired by were i live and my family.My daughter(Alice) being a Tatoo artist and wife being my worst critic.she knows me and knows how to tell me when something doesnt look right without getting under my skin..Alice likes all art so she always says good things that help inspire me and i try to do the same for her..if you look at my rendorosity gallery you will see that i had a pretty rough start and took a year or so to get the hang of 3D art as i have always scetched and painted and created..But learning how to deal with something new is always an adventure..and its been a lot of fun and i have made alot of friends along the way.I mostly use Bryce and Poser and Photoshop on a Dell PC..and plan on getting Vue in the near future..and...I couldnt talk about art with out mentioning Dudley Wade(Prog)Who was one of my first friends here and a heck of a great teacher and i think i learned more from his advise and studying his art than anything else....I dont think i have a style,except that my style is in doing something different when i can think of it!and the longer i post art in these galleries the more i realize that its not really about the art but about the friendships made....getting better with our art is just icing on the cake..I have also been a musician all my life and have played guitar for 30 some odd years..Loving everything from Mel Torme to Jimi Hendrix to all the great new music i hear..some Favorites..Frank Zappa,Stevie Ray Vaughn,Beatles,Pink Floyd,Yes,Scott Henderson,Steve Vai,Joe Satriani,Steve Morse,Nuno Bentencourt,Paul Gilbert,Vinnie Moore,Frank Gambale,Al Dimeola,Les Paul,Chet Atkins,Speedy wes,Jimmy Brynt,Barney Kestle,Charlie Byrd,and many more..i have been posting at renderosity mostly and at Dreamslayerart,Tapestry of dreams,Innertraveler,artzone,renderotica and 3DCommune..not all at the same time...lol...I am very easy to get along with and treasure the friendships made here..I am not afraid to speak up for what i believe in ,am strictly non violent,love nature,and always looking for fun and a reason to celebrate life...so dont be afraid to say hello or ask for help..I dont bite that hard...Love and Peace and Respect.

Every program has limits and strengths in what it can do, I've been using about 3 or 4 of them on my pics to make them better than Poser could by itself. I think that guy is confusing the tools with the art. As they say "If all you have is a hammer, then everything starts to look like a nail." Always better to have a lot more options with more tools to express your art. I love the pose and her expression, Fabulous job!

All great points - Nyah on them since all yur pics rock! S heck I'd love to be able to do some of the things you do for example, that smoke effect kicks butt just like she does ;) and if she dont kick their butt for ya, I can think of a few peeps who would ;) Excellent werk on this one - gotta have some downtime after messin with aliens :)

First of all: wonderful image! Great pose and lighting, I love girls with an attitude! And the smoke is awesome.
Second: I don't understand the person that wrote that mail. You do postwork, on POSER images, just to make them better than is possible with Poser alone. So what?
Love this series, keep up the good work, and f those critics that probably can't create some artwork themselves.

Bill .... you've treated me with 'respect' when you've contacted me .... no matter what you ever do in 'art', with or without a 'single' or 'mulitple' program, I respect you for that, my good man .... QUESTION TO ALL: what does it 'matter' HOW some art was made??? .... was it 'good' or 'not', is what "I" think should be the criteria .... Just 'my' humblest opinion .... brian.

Postwork??? My images are 99.99999999% postwork!! LOL!!! Your images are fantastic-if a Poser figure is the center of attention, I think it belongs in the Poser gallery!! I love digital artwork-of ANY kind, and I can't see getting troubled over where it's posted! LOL!! EXCELLENT render AND POSTWORK!! (I can't believe Nancy said, F em!! LOL!!)

postwork??? you are a brilliant artist and -we- love you. i know i had some one tell me where i could stick my images... and i told him as polietly as i could to go away. this image is great - i am loving this series of yours :) Art is emotion made visual. who is to say what is art and what isn't - flip my stuff is glorified collages and no one is goign to tell -me- that they're not worth it. YOU, bill, are worth it :)

Bill, your art is where ever you want to put it. Somebody who was worried about the almight dollar put it in people's heads that we had to catagorize our art by what programs we use, well, guess what I use several programs to achieve whatever it is I'm trying to express with my art and if somebody doesn't like it..then they should start a catagory called potpouri..where we who love using everything we wish to achieve our goal my post our work without being pidgeon holed. It's disgusting. HUGS THis is down right TOUGh and cute and so YOU..HUGS
