Wonderfully done, leaves this viewer with an unsettled feeling. Ominous atmosphere, chilling even. Excellently done.

So touching, waking up so much in me that words cannot reach, specially when I considder the origin of the word. So very well described... oh, those poor wings, the fright that permeates your image...stunning piece of work!!!

I love the way you approach such deeply moving concepts with that touch of wicked humour! I have to smile while I'm deeply touched by your poor angel, so many powerful connotations, it's a great image Cass, one of my favourites if I could possibly choose such a thing amongst your work! Thank you so much for sharing this hugs ; )

Jeez Cass, you ride a perfect balance between funny and unsettling here... it's screaming blue murder in my face and yet ticky-ticky-tickling me under the armpits at the same time! Something about its trapped haunting feel makes my flesh crawl but I can't help sniggering all the same. Need I say more? Maybe I should let you hear the album "Eskimo" by The Residents sometime ;-) HUGS Thanks for sharing another vision from that warped but beautiful mind :-)

I don't see fear in this image, I see hate. Hatred and loathing and the promised look of vengeance. He seems a warped and twisted little creature, in body as well as mind, so perhaps this is why the padded room and the jab are required? A wonderfully though provoking image nevertheless. I will keep wondering what on earth twisted him so badly as to put him in here for the rest of the day. Thanks for sharing it with us. hugs hard

So thought provoking picture you've made again! I see here hate, too... Question of power somebody takes to prove his betterness. With chains you can't bend anybody's mind to your own. And this goes further more... I really like your wicked humorous tone here! Incredible picture!

This strikes me as a very sad picture, powerfully done. Wonderful work, CassieHUGS The bundled wings are exceptionally drawn; the details are perfect and the finished product very uncomfortable looking. Using a shadow on the wall as opposed to anything more blatant holds just the right subtlety. You've made a very evocative image here, thank you for sharing it.

Is this the last temptation of Jebus? This poor angel has been through hell, And now he's in a padded cell? Wings locked up tight To the devil's delight Will he make it through the night? Love the scary angel eyes too. I know it's an oft-repeated echo in comments on your art, but you really are a master (mistress?). Your imagination and technique are breathtaking.

Why do I always feel guilty at looking at works for free? I have an urge to send you lots and lots of money (if I only could). It took me a while to work out the syringe, but thats a great thing about some of your work (a bit like the mouse in "mother knows best) your humour is dark and jagged (and very entertaining)..... IOU 1M.

I find no words for this. Too heavily it enters into my core that normal skills of language disappear in front of heartbeat.
