Description

I've all my life been fond of strange books. Witches, demons, early catholic/christian means of dispelling both. Any kind of religion you can come up with, I may have attempted to read into it. I just love cultures and thier strange customs. Once upon a time..I read something about burying possessed folk (or rather the bodies of those that didnt survive possession) and/or witches..used to be buried upside down. This was to make them confused so they couldnt figure out which way to claw out of thier entombment. Its been ages since I read of this, and rather impatiently Ive been gawping about on Yahoo/Google to find reference of it. To avail :) So..if you have heard of this strange custom..do tell! If Im full of worms, do tell :) In either case, I like the unfinished quality of this image. Its distracting a bit..a bit disconcerting. And I like that :) As always, Inkraven model - self photo - self

I will keep an eye out in my reading for inverted burial...it rings bells, but nothing definite at the moment...and I think it was more to do with punishment rather than the safety of the living...hmm. Anyway...I love this shot and I think it sums up the feelings very well.

First thing I noticed was the hair running parrell with the mole. Like a face with a hairline crack. Frickin great shot !
