Your camera cannot capture the contrast of this image. Just as photographing the sun and something in front of it, the sun will be right and your other object too dark, or the sun will be overexposed and your object good. The composition, however, is better in balance with the sky. So this one seems - to me - difficult.
Nevertheless I like the playing of the arcs.

Sorry I dont wanna take up anybody time but can somebody help me clear up what I'm doing wrong ? A:Buy better quality cam :p B:Take light levels into account all i can think of at the moment , sorry I'm not v.well educated,everything self taught,.God bless all members of renderosity :) *Digital editing is a possibility but I can never get right balance of contrast to make it look appealing right , I'm currently on demo version of Psp 7

I agree with jcv2, you just need some more contrast here. The sky would be fine, if you could see it. Wait for the sun to come out or be behind you, it looks like it was overcast here. Try the same shot at sunrise or sunset. Also try a couple of different exposure settings. Get the full version of PS7 if you can and try adjusting the curves, levels, etc... Good luck!

my suggestion is to fiddle and fiddle again. Try lots of different things...save them all together...flick through them and see what you like and don't like. Another suggestion - try posting it in the photography forum...especially since you can post several versions in there, it would be helpful I'm sure. I must say, though, I love the composition
