Description

1 apophysis flame, PS6 and quite some PP What we think we see Is only a perception Of pure energy Thank you so much for vieuwing and all of your comments. "Is it agreeable" somebody asked. "Neither agreeable nor disagreeable" I answered. "It just IS" (from "The doors of perception" by Huxley) Wonder what he would think of our Brave New World... Dirk

I think he would only be surprised by the way we have used the technology and have allowed it to be used. While we are capable of doing so many wondrous things we have also allowed untold millions to live in poverty and suffering. Beautiful image, love the dripping effect in the middle and the great choice of colors.

I don't know what he's think of our "brave new world"..but I'm certain he would be at least as impressed with this image as I am. Exceptional work, Dirk.

I love this! The flame is great on the light background but I especially like the added glass sphere and the dripping paint effect on the flame and frame - nifty touch! (I GOTTA know how you did the drips - that's one of the coolest effects I've seen in a while!) Outstanding piece of art! (Huxley would probably think he was right!)

He gave us his idea of a utopia in his book island. It is a lot different to our world. Great image by the way.

Really dripping with draining energy. I hope it is not a symbol of the disappearance of our world. I absolutely love this image but I feel strangely sad on having looked into it.
