Description
This is just beyond the area where the following image was captured. It gives a viewer a better idea of the concept of the glacis: sloping clear field of fire leadin to the fort. Now we know that there is a nasty drop at the top of that lovely green field.
Today this is a very park-like area with small hotels just across the street. Definitely an area worth poking around in.
