Description

If you go out to San Francisco Bay, you will see something like this. I pronounce it "slew", but others might say "sluff" or "sloff". So, I'll simply write it and let you say it. -*- All the vegetation is made with "Anything Grows" in Carrara 3, then assembled, textured, lit and rendered in Bryce. I think I grew grass on all the primitives: a cube, a sphere or two, a plane, and even a cone. Then tossed them together like a tossed salad! Can you tell? -*- Thanks for viewing, and for your comments!

Not just from looking at it... I'd kill the specular on the ground though a bit. I was playing with it the other day myself doing the same thing, Pixels 3D's , ShaderMakerPro, make procedural shaders of the same type. Poser 5, has a version of, ShaderMakerPro, builti-in... looks just like it. I have a ShaderMakerPro shader render example that I intend to post sometime, actually a bunch of them. Some are cool all in themselves.

Incredible realism. Incredible detail. Shame about the title. ;-) Slough (we pronounce it to sounds like cow). Say slough to most Brits and see what they say.

Very good work James. Love the grasses and the lighting, I think, looks pretty darn good. Great render. ---- Scott.

Great job, I really love your materials here, the only real flaw I see is a square patch of shadow along the bottom, right of center.

KICK A** Grass!!!!! I am envious of this or Carrara or someone! I should have learned to write code and I could have made this grow thingy-ma-jiggy, plug-in! Nope, can't tell a bit. This gets the "BEST GROWTH AWARD"!
