Description

Title: Mardek, War Mage Of Keriath Created in Poser 5, but rendered with P4 engine 'cuz the Firefly one ate most of my memory & took bloody forever, even on a brand-new Dell Dimension 8300 with all the latest bells & whistles. Postworked in Corel Photopaint (free trial of version 12 out now, go get it!) & PSP 8. I did a very slight touchup with the clone brush on his left ankle and made minor brightness/contrast adjustments, as well as the addition of "magical glow" -- plus of course my signature. Figure: P5's very own Don. The nude with hair version. Clothing & Props: Kilt, belt and staff all came from pdxJim's Ichiro Wizard Fantasy set. Questor Knives supplied the glaive and the sword is MadWeapons' Broken Blade. I used Jen's Chamber for the background and that bit of cloth folded under his staff is Tariena's Morphing Fantasy veil. All or most of which are available in the R'osity freebies section. (Hope I got that right, wouldn't want to leave anyone out.) Story to go with this: Eventually. It's part of an original fantasy project and I'm still not sure if it's mostly a written novel or a graphic one. Either way, there's gonna be art. Pictures in series: To date, three. Two of which I'm posting for commentary & advice but the third just might be a no-no here unless I adjust a character's hand (on his own chest, might be too near a nipple). If I can do that without throwing the rest of the composition off, I'll upload it later. We'll see. So tell me what you think.

He looks great! Nice dynamic pose and a great job on the glow effect. I think you'll get away with the "male hand near nipple" thing. My god, I hope there's a lot more for the admins to worry about than that. Only one suggestion... invest in thumbnails, they'll help with your exposure and encourage feedback. Welcome aboard, look forward to more from you. :)
