Description
Some of you may remember -> this <- shot, posted almost a year ago and taken almost 5 years ago.
On this latest Tucson trip I hiked to the same spot in Saguaro National Park and took this very similar shot. Just thought the comparison was interesting.
Thanks for looking. :)

This Saguaro grew a little strangely! I live 2 miles from Saguaro National Monument East. You have inspired me to take a drive over there this weekend!

Good to see those spiky friends, we miss them here in the Netherlands. The clouds provide a special background. Beautiful composition!

There a bit like a lot of us I think, not changed much but just got a little bigger around the waistline!!

The cacti are always cool, but I also like what looks like a storm brewing in the background.

Saguaros and a prickly pear! It's unusual to have a saguaro branch that close to the ground. It would be trivial to make sure you got the same plant the second time. That almost looks like the same plant, buried in a lot of sand. It surprised me that you can bury a good part of the cactus, and it will still thrive.
