This one most definitely needs more than 5 rankings, c'mon guys! The lighting is very natural looking. I like the composition, the way the eyes are lead from bottom/left to upper/right. You added natural looking foliage, stones, textures, very convincing movement of the ducks, placement of trees, etc. No unique looking sky and lighting added that you seldom see, no, you kept it simple, to the point, more natural in my opinion. The whole scene looks very in balance, in several areas. This is most definitely a scene you can find in my country. If people don't rank this enough, sorry, but then they're ignoring some of the strong points of this image. It's technically well executed And don't forget, it's also done in the more limited Vue 3.1. Well done ZebraZool, you got my vote. Continue to make stuff like this, keep improving and you will just fine, trust me.

wow! This is excellent work! It reminds me of the images you can find everywhere in Armenia, depicting the mountain of Ararat :) It's very well done. The texturing is great, the lighting is great, the sky is VERY well done (especially when it's created in Vue. One of the best Vue-skies I've seen), and the composition is very well balanced and beautiful. There are four things though, that I think might improve this image. 1 - The blurred grass seems a bit awkward and doesn't fit in with the rest of the image. I don't know if Vue 3.1 has got the plant "patch of grass" but that might solve the problem. If not, how about an alphaplane? I can send you a very high quality alphaplane of grass if you want it? :) 2 - The shadows seems a bit sharp here and there? Some softer shadows would be great! 3 - A little higher renderquality would be awesome. That way, you'll get rid of all that grainy quality. 4 - The last thing is a little more light on the mountain. It seems a bit dark and dull IMHO. Some spots here and there would make it look a lot more majestic and beautiful... These are just some personal opinion. Still, it's a great image! Keep up the good work! :)

Spectacular! scene. Very well done. The only tiny thing that bothers me is the aliased edge on the mountain. A higher render quality should get rid of that though, or a bit of post-work blur. Teriffic work!

Cool view - I would love it more if there would be an Independence Day space ship emerging from clouds over the mountains, but it is also cool nature scene without aliens :-))

totally blows me away!!! i spent a great deal of time doing research and photography for a couple of paintings of canadian geese some years back...if i had seen this i probably would have given up! very nice! couple of postwork suggestions...vue often renders shadow edges very crisp when in fact the edges are very often more blurred...usually when i do postwork in photoshop, i get out the old blur tool and go over the edges of anything except the focal point...much like we actually see, but in a picture we tend to see more in our focal range. it really doesn't take much to improve the pic dramatically. very nice work, i doff my chapeau in your direction.
