Description
This was my second project for my modeling class. The project focus was on materials and lighting this time. The model is based on the Sony RM-AV300T Integrated Remote Commander. I chose to alter it a bit to have it look a little more like a mini iPod to "update" its appearance.
The first image is the primary render for the class requirements. It contains two spots and utilizes the default renderer. The second and third were my own personal experimentation with DOF. They both contain the same lighting setup as the first.

hi buddy i would like to say that this is a great render and again i would pass this as real except the choice of material it is sat on dosnt realy fit the scene......mabe a nice antique pine or oak desk would of been better fitting.....other than that very good

It is very good work ! I wish I had one like these. Can you make the keys kinda transparent with some self illumination ? This might make them as if they were backlit and usable in the dark ! This way it would be the perfect remote ! Good work anyway ! I look forward to do work like you do !
