Description
Forest of graves - an ambiguously title for this picture, shot in the "Central Cemetery of Vienna", the largest cemetery of Europe. There are trees, there are graves, but with this photograph I tried to introduce the question, who came first, the trees, or the graves. Notice the background of the photograph: a neverending huddle of graves.

Oh, wow! I'd say the spirits came first! That's just otherworldly. And the one with the portrait on it is downright spooky. To me she almost looks like she's hanging from the gallows! shudder Nice work!

This is really strange looking, and it makes me think strange things...such as...the trees, as they grow and develop their roots, that the roots must be enveloping the surrounding caskets and holding them lovingly in their place...
