"Do you remember I told you of the twenty-three Goddesses?" Katerina asks. April nods. "Well there is also one God: Torgoth, the God of Destruction, and this is his shrine. He has been dormant for many thousands of years, deprived of followers, his spirit imbibed within the very walls of this building. He has only one purpose: to lay waste to all the worlds. "He needs but one disciple in order to regain the might he once commanded, and assume material form. Should that happen, he will be unstoppable. For as long as we're living here, we will not let it happen." The room falls silent for a few moments. An unexplainable sense of dread fills the air. April stretches her legs and grimaces as her long-unused muscles resist the effort. "Are you okay?" Katerina asks. "Yes, I'm fine. I guess I've just been lying still too long." Katerina nods and looks out the window. A slightly embarrassed smile touches her lips. "Well, no wonder you're uncomfortable: it's almost sunset. I've been talking your ear off all day. Come downstairs and have some dinner, you must be famished." April swings her legs over the side of the bed and smiles as her feet touch the floor for the first time in weeks. She examines her legs - but there is no sign of the shattered kneecaps she suffered after the battle with the orc downstairs. She looks around the room. "Where's Emma?"
