The Story - "While testing a heat resistant alloy in close proximity to a sun, a pair of research scientists on a ship coated with this alloy, discovers the lifeless body of the Autobot leader, Optimus Prime, who was killed in action a year earlier. When they retrieved the body, the star mysteriously explodes, yet the heat resistant alloy manages to allow the ship to survive the nova. But the explosion left some type of spore on the hull of their ship. They tested it to discover that it induces extremely violent hatred on any living organism. The scientists were holding a personal grudge against the Transformers by leaving permanent injuries from their war, and concocted a plan to use the hate inducing spores to force the Transformers to destroy each other. But the plan went awry, and it began to infect not only the Autobots and Decepticons, but it quickly moved into the human population as well. Also, with the help the Transformers with interstellar capabilities, such as Astrotrain and Cosmos, the entire galaxy became contaminated. Before succumbing to the hate plague, the current Autobot leader Rodimus Prime orders Sky Lynxs, who has yet to be infected by the plague, to retrieve a Quintison, the creators of the Transformers in order to bring Optimus Prime back from the dead, in hopes that this resurrection will somehow save the galaxy."
