not bad, but the balls are x-mas-like...too high reflection and too glossy...try some values out...

Yep, like the others said the balls are very clean looking, imperfections are what make 3d look real. Use a dirt map, scuffs or something to break up the surface. Put a nice soft texture on the table, but again shows a little bit of wear, just unevenness in the felt from the balls rolling over it. One other thing is your shadows, they are very diffused, indoor lighting will generally give you harder edged shadows, also is looks like you have only light source, in a bar/pub you're going to have more then one light source creating multiple shadows. I feel kinda bad saying all that, for two weeks you are doing REALLY good though, I don't know if I could pull off this image as I myself have never used HDRI. Anyways, your image is still very good, and I don't mean to discourage at all. Awsome start, love to see you push it that little further.

What got my attention here is the reflection of the balls ! So shinny ! I've never seen so clean balls ! It makes the picture cool to watch. I like the mirror effect on the balls, seing the windows... It is true that this picture does not look very real, but you did accomplish a big step in 2 weeks. I wish I could see them animated ! Gives me the feel of pool ! I'm gonna play pool next weekend I think and I'm gonna think of your render. You are better than me ! Excellent work !
