Post looks really good! Larger scaled it would look even better.
Interesting lighting and surface.

Well done! Composites are so difficult to get looking 'real'. I couldn't get anywhere near as good as this.

looks good, perhaps more contrast on the building? I'm just looking at the rocks nearby and noticing that some are almost black while some are pale, and perhaps a similar contrast should apply to the observatory?

Can't believe I missed this picture! It's great! I know what you mean about getting "added" images to look like they're meant to be there. Here are a few things I try to do. 1. After you finish the picture leave it for a few days and come back to it. You may see some things you could change then. (Highly recommended) 2. When you come back to your picture flip the whole thing horizontally and your brain will think its a whole new picture and again you can better see where the changes/improvements need to be. Your brain gets saturated with an image when you spend a long time working on it and glosses over the imperfections. 3. Try to match the lighting in the bkg to your image. If the bkg is really dark chances are your building will be too. Your image is pretty close but more contrast would be good. esp the middle back tower. 4. Try adjusting the opacity of your new layer sometimes reducing this is enough to make your added image believable. (I did this on the goat layer of my last picture called "Yeees" - it was all I had to do to "fit" it into the picture - lucky!) 5. Try to match the clarity/sharpness of your added image to that of your picture. I didn't do that in Kimberley Castle so the picture isn't that realistic. I can see that now but at the time I couldn't! LOL 6. Match the shadows and the lighting - both in intensity and direction. 7. Try adusting the hue and saturation - I do this a lot! I could go on! I hope this helps - I've been trying to create realistic fantasy images for ages and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Good luck you've done well here!

I love the lighting through the clouds! That's awesome! I try to get that in Vue and it's hard...I'm not even sure how I do it! Awesome work!
