UF. As a child, May 1st was a special day. We picked flowers and made pretty paper baskets and went around in our neighborhood, knocking at doors and leaving a basket of flowers and then ran and hid before anyone answered the door. We were so delighted when the lady of the house exclaimed her pleasure at this gift from some unknown person. I don't believe this is done these days. Rather sad.
