I really want to learn this. I've read quite a few of tutorials on this subject but I realised I will never get the hang of it if I don't try. So here is not the very first try but one that I think I can show. Any sugesstions, hints and even negative comments are welcome. thanks for looking

I think it looks fantastic!! My suggestions would be to paint in more, and thinner strands. If you haven't looked at Crasher's tutorial (in the PhotoShop section here at Renderosity) I would recommend taking a look-that's the only way I ever paint hair. It's very easy to follow! This is looking wonderful-EXCELLENT job!!

I agree with Prog....use thinner strands and more of them. This is a very wonderful attempt thought. The shapre of the hair great, now you just need to define it a bit, and soften it up, and you'll have it perfect. Another tutorial you could try is mine, which is similiar to Crasher's, just gives the hair a softer look. Wonderful job!! HUGS ~Heather
