Description

- One of my favorite things about Renderosity are the comments - and one of the interesting things about comments is - what people see or don't see - So I created this piece to see what can be seen - Is this a self portrait taken thru glass or am I a reflection in glass ? - I will post the answer in my next work - - Enjoy - Thank you for viewing & as always take care :) - - SoulEatar - - HP 320 - PhotoImpact 8 - PS - If possible tell why you choose your ans. - without that info it would just be a guess not a deduction :) -

Reflection in glass. If you took the pic, it has to be a reflection....I think....

Think you took it against a mirror with the glass piece in front of it.

Intriguing photo. The reflections in the glass and counter are great.

Marvellous! Somewhat puzzling.... I think it is just a window where you're looking through, because I see little cyan reflections on the glass. It seems this bowl is in a cupboard with a mirror on its back and you're taking this shot while the camera is behind the bowl. Am I close?

I'm going to say you're a reflection... just a gut feeling! Either way, a very cool effect and shot. :)

I'd say through the glass due to the direction of the light and the way refracted light from the bowl is hitting the glass. The only problem with my theory is I'm having trouble locating the camera in all this. Oh, wait! I just thought of something else. Perhaps your bouncing your reflection with a mirror through glass onto another mirror! Ouch! My head is starting to hurt...

I think you put glass up against a mirror and shot it all with your portrait inside the mirror. ... therefore...you are a reflection in glass. (MIRRORGLASS!) Reason: your features are glass reflected i.e. your head shape and lights on your face..... (ooops... I hope I'm right!!!)not wanting to be rude!!!!

Sometimes the truth as we know it is a premonition and sometimes a conclusion of a long process of deduction. The leap of faith that is induction comes from excluding contradiction. Perhaps it comes from embarassment. To create a hypothesis from modelled behaivor is the best and can refute macros and amplifiers if the modle holds true in more extensive tests. Yet, the beholden judgement reached in the fire of eternity, where no alternate paths branch out from the known is a lax head-strong path. It's a reflection, you prefer reflection to revelation.

I love this Greg! It's so great that you are asking people to think and then having them answer. Very perceptive! I believe this is a representation of you as seen through the glass. I believe this because I think the vase is a representation of the many facets of "SoulEater". Each one a new and compelling part of you that we must explore to really know who you are as a man and as an artist. Some seem distorted, but that is an illusion in itself and provokes us to look further. Excellent work my friend! Have a wonderful day and may God bless you!...Cheryl
