Description
Just a quick landscape to pratice, a forgotten old boat left on a lake, I guess the only thing to say about this one is this is the first that came totaly out of mind, no reference, hope you enjoy and have a great weekend.............John

the title says more than enough.....I like this one.....it gives me a sad feeling inside....because the tree, and the boat without people......good art....very soft, that's what I like

hehe - anotherone without boobs - lol - just kidding - this is a wonderful landscape, and the title is very fitting - and as usual very very well painted - but what catches my interest at the moment were the fir trees in the background, they are damn good painted - wow - john i love to see you practice so much :-) -- its sooo good to see you posting more pictures again my friend :-) --- now i am nosy with what you come up next...

I love what you've been exploring in Painter. Seems like the program is working out very well for you! Lovely scene here, great foreground tree and that sky. Like Uwe, I find my eyes drawn again and again to the cluster of fir trees. They are especially wonderful. Great job overall, keep it coming! :)

Wonderful work John, I love the mountains and the trees in the background, those trees look very realistic. And of course you did a great job with the lighting on the tree and the boat in the foreground. Beautifully done my friend, keep 'em coming.

John...this is so beautiful and your skill as an artist explodes with this piece. I love the dark colors and muted tones and your work on the tree, the way the boat lists off to one side, the beauty of the dark blue and purple highlights in the lake and the evergreens are so very well done.
