At the risk of sounding like a blithering idiot: Oh wow! This is just a great image. My first thought was: "Did Paul get a haircut?" My second thought was: is he referencing that great Billie Holliday song? Sure enough, you are! And the image suits the song perfectly.

Such an excellent portrayal of emotion. Your talent for taking poser beyond the realms of fantasy is just amazing. You can create the most wonderful images, always so real and with haunting sentiment. I love the light in this image, so bright, intense and a contrast to the lonliness. And the cat! Just doing what cats do. I love what you can achieve without postwork, it's so inspiring to see what can really be achieved with Poser itself rather than how it can be augmented with Photoshop. A beautiful and brilliant piece of art.

For those who don't know, this is a replica of my bedroom at the time when I broke up with my ex - wife. It's as accurate of a portrait as you'd ever get at that time. I'd get myself good and drunk to shut up the bad voices, then get up the next day - no rest for the wicked - and watch the bright sunlight, see the world come alive while I died inside. Not the best of times.
