Description
Just a little test using shellac and vray. It has 4 shellacs materials one upon another one making the bump more realistic. The reflection was made using the glosiness channel of vray material of such form that does as in the reality a metal material behaves.

This is good realism.

fantastic , But try to make it with small number of specular highlights and also the softness....
Donan
Thanks to all comments :). Specular range comes from the HDRI map proyected, and the trick i made with shellac and highlight material , but it doesnt look as a real material with highlight :(. Vray next version needs a real glosiness without the trick of refraction.
azaghot
like it ;-)

This is wonderful, I dream to one day make materials this well.

interesting.. Feel like writing a tutorial? one more thing, you should look over the floor texture tiling.. that bowl(?) looks HUGE ;)
Donan
XD yeah i know but the texture was in low res and looks bad with less scale number.Mmm tutorial... maybe :). I recommend that people watch tutorial of vray in the network, are some really good, likes to stare at them once in a while, mainly those of Vray.info :D

Why shellacs materials?
Donan
because of the lack a vray material has. Cant simulate a glosiness like 3dsmax, needs more time of render using the trick of refraction glosiness.
