Description

Elf Queen gave the fairy the light of protection, which no creature of dark could approach... Pencil, GraphicsGale, Paint Shop Pro 7. Music by Iron Maiden :) . About six hours job. Again I'm trying to improve my coloring. I'm neither careful nor precise person, so this is kind of hard for me. I stole detail ideas a bit (robe is simplified from a painting by famous Art Nouveau master Mucha, and fairy's clothing is heavily inspired by one illustration in one of drawing manuals by Christopher Hart). This was fun to do, though :) !

Very nice indeed. The skin tones and shading on the fairy is especially well done. Great work! I may have an opinion about the wings but I'll leave that for the coffee table, Markku ;-)

Awwww... so cute! LOL, it's hilarious that you did this listening to Iron Maiden! :) Love their earlier stuff, the "Killers", "Piece of Mind" and "Powerslave" albums the most. Excellent work! :)
